I live in Chelsea, near Ann Arbor, Michigan, in the USA. I currently work at a local paper in the pressroom where I print the paper. Newspapers are often thought of, especially in the web community, as a dying breed, but it isn’t gone yet, and someone has to print it. It’s been a good job, and helped me achieve a number of my goals, but my passion is working with computers and the Internet. Any questions anyone has about newspapers and the process by which they are created, printed or distributed, feel free to ask.
I also do freelance web design on my off hours. I love working on websites, computers or pretty much anything technology related. I’ll be writing about my current and past website designs and other projects I have on this site. I really enjoy designing and building websites, and have been brushing up on my self-taught skills at the local community college (Washtenaw Community College) as well, which has a great web design curriculum.
In my personal life, I am married to someone who has dreams bigger than mine. She helps keep me motivated and on-track. I have two dogs, a Siberian Husky named Riley and a Black Mouth Cur named Tobey. My wife also has a number of cats she has rescued.
