My wife just pointed out something on Google maps I found funny. To see it for yourself, go to Google Maps and click on “Get Directions”.
Then, put Miami, FL in the from box, and Paris, France in the to box.
Click the Get Directions button.
Look at direction number 30 to see how Google suggests you get across the Atlantic.
Silly, but I thought it was funny.

Well, I managed to work my way through my first AJAX application, a Live Search that updates the search results as you type your search query. It also pulls a list of articles from an XML file and displays the titles.
Check my first Ajax app out, let me know what you think!
Try searching some web related terms, or try scoping your search dynamically once you have some results. There is no submit button or go button, just type and then wait for the results to appear.

I am currently working on a redesign of the ann-arbor-realtor.com website, to ditch the tables and bring it into XHTML strict compliance, and in general give it a facelift.
I’ll post a link once it is closer to completion for people to check it out, right now it’s just a single page with broken links. Here is a sample screen cap of the main page though (text blurred intentionally):
